What You'll Do

The Senior Manager, Life, Health Product Development Initiatives and Execution role at TD Insurance will be responsible for supporting the business case development and Go to Market strategies for Product Solutions. This role involves strategic planning, product design, execution, and launch, often requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing product strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.
  • Business Case Development: Developing and presenting business cases for new product initiatives.
  • Financial Accumen: designing, products that are both financially viable and competitive in the market.
  • Assessing risks: Identify and evaluate the risks associated with proposed products, such as mortality, morbidity, and lapse.
  • Ensuring compliance: Ensure that new insurance products comply with regulatory and risk requirements.
  • Go-to-Market: Act as Product Representative for new product launches using agile ways of working that support the Product and Pricing Strategy
  • Collaboration and Communication: Building and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Supervising and mentoring product development team members, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of life and health insurance products and the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of product development principles and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in storyboarding and business casing.
  • Strong financial analysis and presentation skills.
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA).
