Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Technology Services Division as a Access Management Supervisor. The SNB Technology Services Division provides technology services to all Government of New Brunswick departments and Regional Health Authorities. With over 700 employees, we form one of the largest IT employers in the province with office locations in most cities and regions. Technology is often a core component to government services provided to the citizens of New Brunswick. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

As the Access Management Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing user access and ensuring security protocols are adhered to.

Queue and Workflow Management â?? Monitor and manage Helix incident & service requests, ensuring timely resolution and fulfillment within defined service levels.

Operational Oversight â?? Supervise daily operations of the Access Management team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Escalation Handling & Client Relations â?? Act as the primary escalation point for access-related issues, investigating client concerns and ensuring effective and timely resolution.

Process Improvement & Innovation â?? Identify opportunities for continuous service improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Team Leadership & Development â?? Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to employees, fostering a high-performing team environment.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience OR a two (2) year program at the community college level in computer technology or in a relevant discipline. And a minimum of six (6) years of related experience.

Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English is required.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:

Technical Expertise: Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, access management processes, and identity and access management (IAM) best practices.

IT Systems & Tools: Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, IT service management platforms (such as Helix), and enterprise security protocols.

Supervisory & Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading teams, handling performance management, and coaching employees.

Customer Service & Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and client service skills, with experience in escalation management.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Some weekday evening and weekend work hours may be required on occasion.
  • Some travel throughout the province may be required, and you must possess a valid driverâ??s license.
  • Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
