About the Office
The Office of the New Brunswick Child, Youth and Senior Advocate operates under the Child, Youth and Senior Advocate Act to ensure the rights and interests of vulnerable populations-including seniors and adults with disabilities-are respected in government policies, programs, and services.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will work with the Office of the Advocate to support the development and ongoing enhancement of its electronic casefile management system. This may include tasks related to UI/UX design, database tooling, and full-stack application development. The position offers hands-on experience in the design and implementation of modern software systems used in public sector service delivery.
Required Qualifications

• Preferably in the third or fourth year of a Computer Science program
• Experience developing web-based line-of-business applications
• Proficiency in modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of the C# programming language and .NET Core, with a focus on the ASP.NET web framework
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, and Git

Asset Qualifications

• Strong technical documentation skills
• Experience in full-stack development
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders
• UX and design experience, including interface layout and component design

Salary: $20.00 per hour.
