Together with the Liquidity Regulatory Reporting team, this role is accountable for ensuring Enterprise regulatory liquidity reporting requirements to OSFI, Bank of Canada and other regulators are met. The Senior Analyst will have a solid understanding of liquidity regulatory requirements and with this knowledge, assist in ensuring a sound reporting framework and providing high quality analytics to enable the Bank to manage its liquidity risk.
Liquidity Regulatory Reporting is focused on Regulatory reporting (Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Cumulative Cash Flow, Net Stable Funding Ratio, H4 Pledged Collateral Report, OSFI Supplemental Information Return, US FR2052 report), Financial reporting (MD&A and financial statement note disclosures), and Management reporting against internal limits (deposit counterparties, derivative collateral, securities funding transactions).
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Produce Enterprise daily, monthly and quarterly regulatory reports
- Produce segmented/business line reporting to inform funds transfer pricing
- Produce liquidity MD&A and note disclosures
- Produce management reports to monitor positions against internal limits
- Other routine and ad hoc tasks as required
- Complete functional and user acceptance testing of monthly production releases
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have experience with:
- 3+ years of experience in liquidity risk and treasury management or related areas.
- In depth knowledge of the liquidity rules (Basel III, PRA and OSFI).
- Proficient in Python, SQL, VBA, Power BI and MS Office
- Strong background in accounting and financial statement analysis as well as a detailed understanding of banking products across business lines.
- Prior experience in liquidity management and liquidity regulatory framework is an asset.
- High performance, pragmatic, detail-oriented team player able to work well in a complex, demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Results focused and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, mathematics or accounting is required.
