Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end technical recruitment process for Bell's technical job families.
- Develop and maintain a robust network of technical talent through industry events, meetups, and online communities.
- Utilize online technical communities, forums, and social media to identify and engage top talent.
- Conduct technical assessments to evaluate candidate skills and experience.
- Partner with hiring managers to craft compelling job descriptions and define key skills/requirements.
- Research and stay current on industry trends, hiring patterns, and competitor information.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies (e.g., hackathons, coding challenges) to attract top talent.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and provide regular updates on candidate and recruitment metrics to hiring managers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with technical talent, providing a positive candidate experience.
- Participate in salary negotiations and collaborate on competitive offer development.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting (Software Engineering/Cyber Security preferred).
- Deep understanding of the software engineering industry and its trends.
- Proven sourcing and networking skills.
- Experience using Boolean search techniques and various sourcing tools
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with hiring leaders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
