As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Canadian Wealth Management Operations team to support day-to-day reporting activities.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Deliver daily scheduled reports and supporting Ad hoc reporting requirements with complete data analysis
  • Provide the technical solution to meet the customer requirements
  • Work with data investigation, analysis, development and maintain strong knowledge of wealth management business workflow to deliver the expected solution
  • Work with the business to understand existing functionalities, develop innovative solutions, and write scripts for analysis, testing and regression
  • Understand the relationship database structure and how the data maps to various business applications Identify programming / analysis skill gaps and keep current with new data analysis tools and programming software
  • Conduct heavy data-driven analytics and reconciliations for complex calculation logic in various wealth application data

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • University degree in a quantitative discipline (mathematics, science, computer science, or engineering)
  • A minimum of 5 years' industry and business analysis experience
  • Understanding in wealth business management
  • Data Knowledge in wealth or financial related business
  • In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts
  • In-depth knowledge of Data analytics and Business intelligence
  • SQL, AS400, Microsoft Access, Microsoft VBA, or VB .Net, and Sybase
  • Experience using Power BI and Python is an asset
  • Experience with GCP is an asset
  • Experience in MS SQL server is an asset
  • The ability to adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
  • Effective communication skills with an ability to consult with both highly technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Advanced analytical skills with an ability to problem solve
  • A high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated innovation skills
  • An eagerness and are a self-starter, with the ability to learn and quickly adapt to new technology
  • The ability to be flexible and comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and challenges
