Galbraith Construction Ltd. is a local, family owned, heavy civil construction company. We offer a complete range of services in water and sewer, road building, earth moving, aggregate production, asphalt paving, concrete curb, demolition, and snow removal. We own and operate a fleet of heavy equipment and trucks. We are seeking the right candidate to join our team as the maintenance manager at our shop, located in west Saint John.

Working alongside the owners and shop foreman, the duties of this position include:

· Maintaining a safe work environment.

· Organizing and supervision of mechanics, welders and other shop personal

· Sourcing parts and maintaining consumables inventory, procuring competitive pricing on purchases

· Assisting the mechanics on deciding on the most cost effective methods for repairs and maintenance

· Upkeep of equipment maintenance records

· General upkeep of the facility

The ideal candidate will have:

Excellent organizational skills,

Strong mechanical aptitude,

Good motivational skills.

Previous fleet experience with trucks and heavy equipment would be as asset.
