What you will do
Reporting to the Sign Shop Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- cutting materials for signs including plywood, aluminum, sentra, corex, gravoply using various power tools;
- cuttting out letters using computer software and cutter plotter;
- applying letters and graphics to signs by hand;
- covering sign substrate with protective coating/sheeting;
- applying graphics and lettering to vehicles;
- preparing screens for silk screening and silk screening signs;
- assisting with unloading/loading of trucks, cutting sign posts, straightening guiderail.
Work environment:
- Office location: 122 Currie Avenue, Fredericton.
- Open office layout.
- Standard hours of work: Monday â?? Friday.

Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of grade ten (10).
- One (1) year experience manufacturing, screen printing and producing signs.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Class 5 driverâ??s license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate the following assets:
- experience using CAS, Flexi-Cut and Adobe Software for sign fabrication;
- experience using a HP 365 Printer;
- experience using Zund flatbed potter/cutter.
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.

SALARY:
Operations Worker II: $26.12 per hour, based on a 40- hour week.
