Summary

Bell is currently looking for a BI Developer, experienced in decision-making and can support the team in reporting execution and management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to hone their leadership skills and support important business decision-making by working with new, cutting-edge decision-making technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in collaboration with Customer Analytics, Products, Pricing, Marketing Communications and IT channels to develop and execute end-to-end campaigns.
  • Actively contribute to the marketing planning cycle especially on loyalty campaigns.
  • Define and deliver business requirements by leading working sessions.
  • Evolve the reporting ecosystem to enable best-in-class marketing tactics.
  • Increase ability of Reporting team to deliver more, faster, better
  • Automate and improve recurring processes.
  • Analyze the best data sources and the design and logic of queries.
  • Data analysis - analyzing data to provide information on reporting opportunities.
  • Data mining - extracting data and identifying errors or gaps in data sources.
  • Define overall testing strategies and provide support all levels of testing and defect resolution.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
  • Manage incoming data development or investigation requests and engage stakeholders to understand the underlying problem, base assumptions and desired outcomes.

Critical Qualifications
  • 3+ year hands-on experience with ETL development and design techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL is required (3+ years experience)
  • Experience with SAS programming language and SAS Data Integration Studio
  • Experience with Teradata and SQL Server
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science and/or related fields or experience
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing system requirements
  • Knowledge of Data Marts, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts
  • Emphasis on development of high quality code focused on efficiency and the elimination of data integrity or quality issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously and to work independently and as part of an extended team
  • Experience with Excel (tables and pivot tables)
  • Working knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide
  • Experience in direct and targeted marketing, including campaign list creation, and understanding of processes related to excluded numbers, the Canadian Anti-Spam Act (CASA) and contact strategy
  • Experience in technology companies and/or telecom networks is a strong asset
  • Experience developing cubes, complex reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy
  • Experience with Oracle, Teradata, ETL tools
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Experience with data modeling
  • Knowledge of telecommunication sector
  • Proven project management and change management skills
