SummaryAs part of the Service Transformation team, the Service Design Transition Architect (SDTA) plays a key role in supporting large customer deals by being involved in the design and delivery phases. The SDTA's primary focus is to embed themselves in the deal process to consult and direct solutions based on Bell Business Markets (BBM) Operational and Transformation best practices and procedures, while collaborating multiple internal stakeholders. The SDTA will assess the non-standard elements in the final solution and provide effort and appropriate approvals accordingly.
Key Responsibilities• Support pre-sales account team with defining a solution and non-standard requirements
• Synergize solution against product roadmaps and parallel solution stream
• Collaborates with internal Bell teams to consult on non-standard elements and evaluate how they affects our operational teams
• Establishes and validates the architectural, technical, and operational requirements for each assigned project, including modifications to corporate systems, new reports, customer experience and IT solutions.
• Communicates with the client and Bell stakeholders to ensure deal requirements are clearly understood and communicated, and developed solutions aligned with the requirements.
• Obtain assessments from all impacted domains and financial approval
• Align executive stakeholder approval on proposed solution offering
• Transition opportunity to core delivery team for deployment
• Validate requirements within contract compared to RFP/RFQ and product roadmaps and reassess impacts of changes (post – negotiation)
• Collaborate with the business units to confirm their deliverables, their sequencing and timeframe, alongside the project management team.
• Facilitates and/or participates in various working sessions with clients and Bell stakeholders.
• Partner with the Senior Transition Business Analyst to develop and present an Integrated Conceptual Solution (ICS)
• Proactively identify and mitigate solution - based challenges and support impacted team
• Facilitate and lead solution workshops
• Monitors development of the IT and operational deliverables, and facilitates resolution of roadblocks (when applicable).
• Keeps abreast of internal business capacities, system and products.
• Proactively identifies and resolves deal related issues and escalates when required.
• Champion operational design within change requests (CRs) to ensure changes are aligned to overall solution
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) to maintain solution integrity
• Federal Government accounts: lead Acceptance Test Plan/ Acceptance Test Results (ATP/ATR) activities with internal and external (client) stakeholders
• Provide solution support during warranty period
- Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5 years' experience developing/maintaining Business/Domain Architecture; experience in analysis or strategic planning of activities
- A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
- Knowledge and experience in domains such as service provisioning, customer service, service assurance, workforce management, change management, billing, reporting, process automation, monitoring tools, service levels and security
- The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to the development teams; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and workflow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery
- Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
- Strong leadership abilities
- Knowledge and certifications on TM Forum (eTom), ITIL, SAFe and/or TOGAF is an asset
- In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
