The New Brunswick Housing Corporation is seeking an individual to join our Team as a Maintenance Repair Worker in Fredericton, NB, located in the Central Zone of Housing.
As a member of the Housing team, this position will provide semi-skilled to skilled maintenance work in the building and plumbing occupations. The incumbent will be responsible to perform general and preventative maintenance on housing units. Duties of the position may include, but are not limited to: performing minor plumbing, carpentry, janitorial and painting repair work of a routine nature; lifting, moving, or carrying building material, equipment or appliances; maintaining and up keeping assigned vehicle; preparing periodic work status reports; maintaining inventory and estimating costs; applying work safety regulations; and other related duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or GED and have three (3) years' experience at the semi-skilled level in carpentry and plumbing occupations.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This position will involve some evening and weekend assignments as well as travel within the region. A valid class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick will be required.
