Description
The Multiplatform Associate Director oversees the broadcasting of the news department in addition to providing daily imagery according to the objectives and mission of the Sports Network. After consultation with relevant stakeholders, he is responsible for supporting the development of the concept, its presentation, the realization and the presentation.
The Producer must produce programs for the news service.
Main Responsibilities- Produce live or deferred broadcasts for the news department within the scheduled deadlines in collaboration with the desk editor and the producer.
- Carry out the editing of programs and other production elements
- Stay at the cutting edge of technological developments
- Others related tasks
- Hold a college diploma in television production or equivalent training combined with (5) five years of relevant experience
- Possess a keen sense of communication, planning, organization and respect for priorities; be attentive to details, thoroughness in the execution of tasks
- Demonstrate great skills in interpersonal relations, teamwork, tact, interpersonal skills and diplomacy
- Know the television and production industry
- Demonstrate efficiency under the extreme pressure of live production
- Have a good knowledge of the sport
- Knowledge of English required: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
