Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Programmer Analyst provides technical support, systems analysis, design and programming on new and existing applications and / or system integrations to ensure availability, reliability, integrity and security. Specifically, this position completes assigned requests; designs, develops and implements software and / or integration solutions; performs upgrades and system enhancements; maintains and supports multiple production systems; consults with users and key stakeholders concerning system requests; works closely with team members and other technical groups; writes and modifies computer programs or integration code; understands the client organizations business needs; configures solutions to meet identified business requirements, processes, and functional requirements; investigates and corrects application and integration production issues; ensures enhancements adhere to organizational and industry standards; ensures adequate system testing and user review; reviews and updates documentation (e.g. Operational Procedures Manuals, Network Diagrams, Disaster Recovery Plans). The incumbent will provide leadership and mentor junior resources in modifying business applications and / or system integrations in accordance with organizational and industry standards.

Job Demands

Occasionally lifts objects up to 25 lbs., as well as occasional standing, walking, driving, bending, kneeling and stretching may be required.
Constantly performs fine finger/precision work while sitting and using a computer mouse.
Constantly requires visual concentration when designing and coding applications and system integrations, debugging and troubleshooting reports/forms/scripts.

Job Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized university with a Computer Science degree or a bachelor degree supplemented by a graduate diploma in Information Technology, minimum one year (900 hours duration) or from a recognized Technical College with a minimum three-year Computer Studies Diploma.
Minimum of five years of experience within the last seven years in structured and object-oriented programming or systems integration development (using technologies / skills such as Visual Studio .Net, C#, AWS, Java, FHIR, HL7, RestfulAPIs, Biztalk, Corepoint, Rhapsody, WordPress, ReCaptcha, HTML, SSL, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
Experience developing or supporting IT applications or integrations is required.
Experience working with database technologies is required.
Knowledge of structured and object-oriented programming.
Knowledge of various database technologies.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
Demonstrated strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required
