JOB PURPOSE
The Psychologist Leader is clinical leadership work in the field of psychology, employees provide support, guidance, and advice on clinical practice.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be licensed as a Psychologist under the New Brunswick College of Psychologists and have progressive related work experience (3 years) in which leadership ability and competency as a psychologist has been demonstrated
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Psychologist 2 Clinical Leader is responsible to:
- Ensure services provided are consistent with professional scope of practice
- Provide clinical support to Psychologists
- Provide guidance and advise to staff, management, and stakeholders regarding clinical practice
- Monitor, assign and review work
- Perform administrative duties such as oversee day to day operations, participate in staff recruitment, assist in performance management, statistical activities, and committee work
- Perform clinical work
