We are looking for a Data Analyst to help support our growing operation which provides exemplary, highly coordinated primary health care in the right place, from the right provider, at the right time.
Reporting to the Vice President, Organizational Performance and Innovation, the Data Analyst will work closely with many areas of the organization to understand their reporting and data needs. In this role, you will work closely with the senior data analysts and senior application analyst and assist data cleansing, data quality and reporting. You will become a subject matter expert on source system data and will accurately extract, report and analyze data to meet the various demands of the business. The incumbent will be a key member of a team of professional who support the ongoing development of Key Performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring and reporting on health information from our Part III company sources.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist our senior analysts in preparing data for analysis.
- Prepare scheduled and unscheduled reporting on contractually identified KPIs and performance measures, including reviewing all component reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist our senior analysts in data mining, analysis and interpretation of data, reports and trends.
- Support the ongoing development of reporting tools to reflect evolving business requirements.
- Support business development through analysis of data and modelling of system impacts.
- Ensure that privacy is respected in measurement and reporting systems.
- Engage in peer quality assurance activities to help maintain our contractual and operational obligations which require timely and accurate deliverables.
- Build and maintain productive working relationship with our business partners.
- Prioritize incoming requests, manage expectations and working relationships.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you:
- Have a post-secondary courses or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of relational database management and reporting management functions.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a data analysis or reporting role.
- Possess knowledge of database query languages and expertise in Microsoft SQL server, other reporting tools (Power Bi, Sql Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and TSQL).
- Possesses strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including proficiency in Excel.
- Have knowledge and understanding of the key records management and information management standards and legislation and information standards.
- Possess strong analytical skills (able to make sense of data and trends, and produce actionable analysis used by the business to make timely decisions).
- Proficiency in data classification and protection of sensitive data.
- Experience in a health care environment would be considered an asset.
- Available to work on site at our Moncton location
- Canadian citizen and permanent resident of Canada
- Bilingualism is strongly preferred for this position.
