We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Property team based in the Firm's Halifax, NS office.
Type of Position: 13-Month Contract
Close Date: April 20, 2025
The Opportunity:
An integral member of the Firm's Property team, our Legal Assistants provides administrative support to a team of Lawyers to ensure the highest quality of service to our clients.
In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for a number of tasks ranging from drafting documentation for residential and commercial real estate purchases, sales and mortgage transactions, handling client correspondence, file management, billing-related tasks, calendar management, scanning/ photocopying/ binding, and a variety of other duties.
