About This Role
As the Technology Lead, you are responsible for the end-to-end technology solution and set direction for the technology development through Production deployment and support transition to BAU. You will be building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners and vendors to provide guidance and direction on the optimal technology solution or services to meet business needs. This role will typically work in partnership with project/program Delivery lead and will aid in supporting the technology team to meet commitments and delivery on the project/program objectives. Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:
Lead and coach development teams and own responsibility for the delivery of development solutions and component/unit testing efforts.
Oversee and report on project status, manage project team resources and assignments, ensure project milestones are met and up to standard.
Work with technology partners to develop the content for development and solutions design deliverables, ensure project estimates cover all activities within scope, including project management and application development, software quality assurance reviews, and vendor and contract management activities.
Ensure all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members.
Work in close partnership with Architects to ensure that all the components are integrated and support the development of enterprise frameworks, standards, and patterns.
Collaborates with the Solution Architecture team to provide direction on the technology roadmap.
Works with Testing partners to manage defects, prioritize with stakeholders, and resolve with the delivery team.
May also be required to manage day to day vendor relationships through delivery to ensure timely communications and resolution of issues.
Engages other Technology partners (Release Management, Risk Management, TS Operations, etc.) to manage technical requirements and standards.
Employ and advocate the use of architecture frameworks, standards and patterns to facilitate consistent and secure solutions design and delivery.
Ensure compliance with technology architecture and design/operate processes to provide ongoing review of in-progress activity against technology architecture and development standards.
Identify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that may affect other areas and lead resolution of escalated issues.
May also be required to manage day to day vendor relationships through delivery to ensure timely communications and resolution of issues.
Job Requirements:

Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
Graduated degree preferred.
10+ years development and technology delivery experience.
Experience / knowledge on Fraud Management and Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting and other similar topics will be an asset.
Experience with Service Now is preferred.
Strong expertise in and experience with technology standards and leading large and varied teams of professionals in large-scale applications/projects across multiple areas involving varying degrees of scope and complexity.
Readiness and motivation to direct and collaborate with small to medium and diverse groups or project teams focused on complex development, system enhancements, new releases, small to medium-scale applications, projects across multiple product lines, businesses, involving significant scope and complexity.
Strong knowledge and understanding of businesses and/or organizational practices and disciplines. Knowledge of external competition, industry and/or market trends.
Experience and natural affinity for providing operational team direction and working autonomously in a management role and can collaborate effectively with others to establish and execute on common goals.
