As the global market leader in lighting solutions for the Marine & Offshore Energy sectors, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Lighting Systems Designer to join our team at our Mount Pearl facility.

Role Overview

• Completion of lighting calculations using Glamox' lighting calculation software, Optiwin 3D pro.
• Creation and upkeep of bills of materials for projects.
• Creation and upkeep of technical packages for projects.
• Project management and other technical duties as required.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited post‐secondary institution as an Electrical Engineering Technologist (Other backgrounds may be considered based on experience)
• Familiarity working with lighting calculation software is an asset.
• Working knowledge of drafting software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is an asset.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent oral communication
• Excellent written communication
• Organized
