Department of Facilities Management
(Multiple Six Month Contractual Positions; Full-Time and Call-In)
DUTIES
Under general supervision, the Custodian I will be required to perform cleaning and minor maintenance work in a designated area during assigned work shift. Duties include using proper methods and materials effectively to clean and care for building areas and equipment; and performing other related duties as required. These positions are for weekend shifts only with the option to be considered for other available shifts during the week.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (up to 1 year) in general commercial custodial work; graduation from high school is required; or an equivalent combination of experience and training will be considered. Employment will be conditional upon the completion of a satisfactory Criminal Record Screening and Vulnerable Sector Check with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
SALARY $22.60- $26.50 per hour (NAPE Local 7804)
