Our company is currently looking for new team members to support its mission of providing excellence in emergency and community care within our various programs, namely Ambulance New Brunswick, the Extra-Mural Program and NB Health Link. We are looking for a Director, Innovation to spearhead the development and implementation of innovative strategies and processes that foster integration and cross-departmental collaboration.
Central to their role is identifying emerging trends and healthcare technologies and methodologies, to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. They foster a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging professionals and staff to explore new ideas and approaches in patient care, research, and administration.
The Director of Innovation often collaborates with various departments to ensure that innovative practices are integrated into all aspects of the organization. They play a vital role in bridging the gap between traditional methods and new, disruptive approaches, ensuring the organization continuously evolves and stays ahead in a rapidly changing business landscape.
Through their guidance, the organization remains at the forefront of healthcare innovation, continually enhancing its services in an ever-changing and demanding healthcare environment.

In this role, your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Design and implement an innovation hub with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
o Idea generation

- Design and implementation of a center of excellence in the following areas:
o Process optimization
o Business analysis
o Technical writing
o Project management
o Change management.
o Innovation
o Quality Assurance
o Continuous improvement
o A network of Subject matter experts
Leadership
- Provide leadership, direction and guidance to a group of specialized professionals by participating, supporting and ensuring accountabilities for all initiatives that foster a culture of collaboration and a high performance system
- Oversee a Special Project task force - to be deployed to key corporate initiatives.
As the ideal candidate for this role, you:
- Post-Secondary education is required preferably in the Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Experience in the service and/or health care sector is an asset
- A minimum of 8 years leadership experience
- Sound business judgment and be able to think strategically in a dynamic environment;
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities are required;
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills;
- Work both independently and as part of a management team;
- Demonstrate leadership and knowledge of other operational / support functions are necessary;
- Display an overall aptitude for negotiation and dispute resolution skills: leads team members by example and practices good time management;
- Ability to work as a team leader at a local, provincial and inter-agency level;
- Demonstrative leadership qualities and the ability to coordinate large groups of people through remote management techniques are essential;
B ilingualism (French and English) is an asset for this position.
