We are currently hiring for a Senior Communications Advisor - Internal/Employee Engagement. This regular opportunity, in the Administration Department, has full time hours.

As the Senior Communications Advisor - Internal/Employee Engagement you will:
- Support Halifax Water's inclusive and equitable environment, expressing the organization's voice, as well as creating and supporting opportunities for employee engagement.
- This includes: creating and developing content that informs and engages employees across various platforms, including an internal newsletter, intranet site, internal emails, videos, employee meetings, presentations, publications for internal chat networks, etc.
- Assist in developing and implementing internal communication strategies and plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to convey the organization's vision, progress, and current state of affairs in a compelling and transparent manner.
- Coordinate creating, updating, and maintaining visual design and themes for internal communication channels.
- Conduct research to understand employee needs and improve internal communication capabilities and user experience.
- Oversee the authoring and proper use of online channels for official company news and updates.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to internal communications, such as content demand and usage.
To do this job you need:
- University degree in Public Relations, Communications or a related field
- A minimum of five years' relevant experience, in internal communication, public relations or a related field
- This position requires experience in developing, designing, and implementing clear, consistent, and engaging employee communication and content strategies
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
