Definition of work: This position plans, designs, develops, delivers, evaluates, and implements staff development, training, and educational services for all staff within the organization. The ability to perform professional and administrative work in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of Information Systems related initiatives and training within Employment Development is required. Applicants must demonstrate knowledge of presentation and facilitation skills, adult learning principles, needs based annual learning and development plan and demonstrate the ability to coach others regarding learning initiatives. Applicants must also demonstrate knowledge of program development and delivery utilizing a multimedia approach such as in class, webinars, and e-learning. Knowledge of statistical data collection and reporting is required. It is essential to maintain proficiency in the latest computer hardware and software, audio, video, digital capabilities to enhance the learning environmental at Western health. Applicants should be highly motivated individuals with the ability to work with considerable computer and technical independence. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential

Required Qualifications: The completion of a degree in Business, Education or a Health discipline is preferred. The completion of a diploma or certification in Adult Education and Training is required. Experience working with learning management systems such as Articulate is required, as well as a strong knowledge of the development of training materials for the adult population. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. An understanding of adult learning principles, program design and development are required
