Halifax Water is accepting applications for one (1) Operations Technology (OT) Student in the Corporate Services Department, for the summer months from approximately May to August 2025. The OT Student will support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various instrumentation, radio communication equipment, automated controls, and any other ICS related equipment within Halifax Water. The role involves working with control systems, sensors, actuators, variable-frequency drives (VFD's), and control panels to ensure the efficient and safe operation of industrial processes.

Qualifications

This opportunity is open to students who have been in full-time attendance at an educational institution in the preceding scholastic year and are enrolled in a full-time program for the coming year. Applicants must include with their resume, documentation from the educational institution confirming registration and acceptance for the upcoming year. Returning students will be limited to a maximum of three (3) summers in order to allow the same opportunity to other potential candidates.
