JMC is pleased to partner with O'Brien Material Handling, Atlantic Canada's only full-service overhead crane manufacturer, in their search for a Service Coordinator to join their team in Memramcook, New Brunswick.

The Opportunity
The Service Coordinator is a key member of the service team, responsible for supporting day-to-day service operations and ensuring the smooth coordination of work between customers, technicians, and internal departments. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Coordinator will manage service work orders, liaise with vendors and customers, and ensure the timely scheduling and completion of inspections, billing, and parts procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quotes and process service work orders
- Open and manage parts job files
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email to assess part needs
- Verify accuracy of invoicing prior to billing
- Source parts and materials required for job completion
- Ensure customer inspections are scheduled and completed on time
- Assist the Service Manager in preparing documentation for technicians
- Identify service opportunities that may lead to additional sales
- Support customer issue resolution and maintain strong relationships
- Provide backup support for the crane service team, including occasional on-call duties
- Perform other related administrative and coordination tasks as required
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate combines technical understanding, administrative efficiency, and customer service excellence. They are detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or service-based industry
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Proven attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bilingualism in French and English is considered a strong asset
