Who we are:
We invite you to join République Provincial Park located on the shores of the Madawaska River. This 108-acre park offers over 150 campsites, rustic shelters and Ch-A-Lets.

The park offers scenic hiking and cycling trails, two volleyball courts, a fully equipped outdoor playground, two tennis courts, horseshoe pits, boat ramp, picnic sites, a picnic shelter, laundry room, a playroom for indoor activities, a heated swimming pool, an amphitheatre and a convenience store.

Savour the sweet perfume of the magnificent New Brunswick Botanical Garden, a truly peaceful oasis located on more than 20 acres of the park's land.

What you will do:
Reporting to the Park Maintenance Supervisor at République Provincial Park, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings, structures and grounds.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing buildings, grounds and equipment
  • Managing assets via short and long-term maintenance and repair planning
  • Performing daily inspections
  • Assisting with new projects and renovations
  • Performing physically demanding tasks
  • Performing other related tasks as required

Who you are:

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:

Required Competencies:

  • High school diploma or GED, minimum one (1) year of related work experience at the semi-skilled level in the building, electrical and/or mechanical occupations
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License is required
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in French is required. Please state your language capability.

Wage:
$27.12 per hour

Work environment:
