SummaryAs a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will create value out of our data, bringing meaningful and actionable insights for marketing, product, and sales team. You will proactively find information from various sources and analyze it to improve the performance of our business.
The Business Intelligence analyst will review and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources. Communicating analysis results and making recommendations to senior management. You will also play a key role in current and future advanced analytics projects, developing implementing, and supporting machine learning models and data analysis to meet business objectives.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who is willing to learn and evolve with the business. He or she should have an insatiable drive and passion to continually improve our results.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements and assess business processes, data sources, limitation and define assumptions
- Design, develop and implement procedure to consolidate internal and external data sources to provide business insights
- Create and maintain business and competitive intelligence processes, tools and databases to support the development of product, customer and market segment strategies and programs within Bell Business Markets
- Work with large data volumes efficiently using SAS, Teradata and Google Cloud Platform BigQuery
- Use reporting analytics tools for reports and dashboards including Tableau, MicroStrategy, Pentaho
- Provide analytical insights and present key findings to management teams and business stakeholders
- Understand the Bell Business Markets environment, from a business performance point of view and provide analysis expertise to drive improved performance
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science along with 2-5 years of related experience
- Strong technical skills with all data driven technologies (SQL, SAS, TERADATA, MSSQL, GCP BigQuery)
- Past experience in project delivery in Agile method/Iterative approach; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnership and client relationship
- Solid business acumen – must be able to understand the key drivers of success and growth and redirect resources to deliver results
- Experience with product pricing and costing techniques, concepts. and financial terms
- Ability to manage and understand customers' needs and able to find and process company data to support business decisions
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguous situations and short time frames; Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills
- Team player and quick learner with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, be a self starter and comfortable with ambiguity
