We are searching for a Regional Manager to lead our team across the Colchester-Cumberland region of Nova Scotia. This role is Temporary Full-time for one (1) year and will oversee four (4) of the Enhanced Care Nursing Homes, including Vimy Court, Debert Court, Elk Court, and Northumberland Hall.
The Regional Manager reports directly to the Regional Director of Eastern & Northern Zones, and is responsible for enhancing operational, clinical, and financial processes, promoting a quality improvement culture, and creating engagement and people strategies that motivate teams to provide an exceptional quality of care for all residents.

About the Opportunity
As a Regional Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the regional team—including Site Managers, Nursing Managers, and other key leaders—to plan, coordinate, and implement operational strategies, ensuring the highest standards of resident care. Key responsibilities include:

Leading and supporting the regional team to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate key performance indicators

Building and maintaining relationships with teams across all facilities, including union leadership
-
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and best practices
-
Establishing and maintaining an effective organizational structure, ensuring clear responsibility and accountability

Responding to and implementing recommendations from Shannex's quality program and government inspection reports
-
Promoting resident safety by ensuring teams follow standard operational procedures, safe work practices, and all required training
-
Supporting the standardization of quality practices and education delivery across homes

Ensuring clinical resources are utilized efficiently and effectively
-
Leading key stakeholder relationships for the region, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration across all sites
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:

Relevant university degree in health science/service/administration or business

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing with current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia is considered an asset

A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, including supervisory or management experience

A Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field is an asset

Strong leadersh ip skills with proven problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
-
A service-minded, results-oriented attitude, with a passion for healthcare and senior care
-
A high level of initiative, attention to detail, and adaptability
-
Experience in a leadership role within long-term care or another regulated healthcare environment is an asset
