The Senior Manager, Asset Management Operations supports and contributes to the overall success of the International Wealth Management (IWM) Asset Management (AM) business. The incumbent will provide leadership and support in assessing and documenting current and future state IWM AM operational processes, work collaboratively with AM business lines and Technology partners, in supporting the definition and implementation of the AM Target Operating Model. They will lead/support the definition and execution of operational workstreams in AM transformation initiatives within the Caribbean, Central America & Uruguay (CCAU) region, as well as the Pacific Alliance Countries (PAC – Mexico, Colombia, Peru & Chile). Their responsibilities also include participating in and supporting new and ongoing programs and projects initiated by IWM Operations to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

Coordinate with in-country Wealth Management and Operations teams to assess current state AM operating models, including the documentation of existing process flows, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and any in-country or cross-bordered efficiency opportunities

Support Head Office Governance over in-country AM activities, including the definition and periodic preparation of KPIs and KRIs (Key Risk Indicators), and any related follow-up/investigation that is required

In collaboration with our internal partners, perform country gap assessments and support the definition of standard regional operating models for Asset Management that leverage scale and prioritize strategic vendor relationships to promote operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and facilitate effective oversight

In collaboration with our internal partners, support new and ongoing programs/projects to improve business lines, targets & goals as well as new opportunities to improve processes surrounding the Brokerage & Advisory, Asset Management/Wealth technology, management reports, operation activities, outsourcing opportunities, and cost reduction initiatives

Support business case documentation and associated implementation roadmaps for model transformation/efficiency initiatives that clearly articulate financial, risk mitigation benefits, and support the execution of implementation roadmaps for operational workstream, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables

At times, participate in multiple projects with a broad, international, and domestic scope at any given time
***Overnight air travel may be required through North America and/or international destinations (up to 2 weeks duration), depending on the assigned portfolio of project(s).

A university degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields

5-10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, managing complex projects with operational, process reengineering, change management and IT components

Knowledge of Asset Management products, services, operations, technology, and best practices

Bilingual: Spanish and English language required

Must have a developed, demonstrated competence in project planning/business analysis and execution related to the financial industry to identify and document critical milestones and activities

Effective oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to present to various groups

The ability to balance competing or conflicting goals of various departments/stakeholders requiring a prioritization approach

Strong influencing, negotiation and change management skills
