The Manager, Learning Development & Design contributes to the overall success of Canadian Fraud Management ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. The Manager Learning, Development & Design is responsible for leading, and coaching the Design and Facilitation team, including the creation, planning and development of all new content for Fraud, as well as the scheduling and managing the training delivery all training.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Partner with the Senior Manager, Learning and Training to identify the right learning strategy and solutions to meet business objectives and provide strategic direction for the business
- Develop the overall framework, design, strategy of courses, ensuring alignment with learning needs and service level agreements
- Create mock-ups, scripts, of storyboard to support development of all learning content
- Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and priority to create, update and maintain a training plan to meet the Business Lines' needs
- Ensure that tasks completed by the team are delivered according to internal and project timelines and meet the department's quality and design standards
- Provide input to the design and development stages of major initiatives, including feedback on new learning programs and enhancements, as warranted.
- Identify and enhance existing processes to better meet the business needs and deliver training in the most effective manner
- Champion a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates the team by fostering an inclusive environment; communicating vision/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
- 5+ years experience in learning design in a corporate environment
- Expert of knowledge of training and development standards and methodology
- Strong design, organization and planning skills
- Proven track record of coaching, and performance management of team members of varying skill sets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Results oriented and able to effectively execute in a fast-paced environment
