Applications are being accepted for the permanent position of Provincial Accreditation Manager with NL Health Services (NLHS). The Accreditation Manager is a management position within the Provincial Quality, Risk Management and Accreditation Program, reporting to Provincial Director of Patient Experience & Service Excellence. This key position will coordinate all activities related to onsite Accreditation Surveys with NLHS and support quality improvement activities. This position will provide leadership and support to the provincial program leaders, quality improvement teams, working groups, and/or identified program areas in relation to the accreditation process.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to liaising with key internal and external partners, leading, and supporting the planning and preparation for accreditation, enhancing education and communication related to the accreditation process, and leading logistics for on-site survey visits. This position will maintain regular connect with Accreditation Canada Liaison and be aware of tools and necessary resources to support the NLHS organization in the accreditation process. This position will work collaboratively with all levels of leadership within NLHS and support quality processes to enable successful accreditation experience and support staff to ensure they are Accreditation Ready Every Day.

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant will have completed an undergraduate degree in a health-related field
A minimum of five years’ experience in a clinical setting
A minimum of three years’ leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
A comprehensive understanding of the accreditation process, accreditation tracer methodology and knowledge of quality improvement is strongly desired.
Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams.
Strong leadership, facilitation, process improvement experience, analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to function effectively in a high pressure, diverse and changing environment are required.
Candidates must be adept at working collaboratively while also displaying independence, initiative and enterprise.
The candidate may be required to travel. Use of a private vehicle is a condition of employment.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
