We're looking for a team player, a detail orientated, organized person to join our Individual Administration team. As a member of this team, you will help us achieve our monthly targets by processing change requests related to Individual Health insurance policies; i.e.: changes to benefits & coverage, method of payment, billing, and other maintenance.
You will also ensure sales agents are paid correctly, and deliver excellent customer service to our internal customers.
Your every day with us:
You will apply your problem solving and critical thinking skills in order to be able to effectively resolve various issues that may occur in the enrollment and billing of New Brunswick Drug Plan customers. You will work in a high volume fast paced environment where prioritizing is a must. Strong communication skills are essential.
As well, you will:
- Support the day to day administrative activities surrounding enrollment and billing for members of the New Brunswick Drug Plan;
- Perform plan changes and billing related tasks within the established accuracy, productivity and efficiency performance targets using different admin systems, ensuring our members requests are processed promptly and accurately;
- Quickly analyze customer needs regarding their coverage and billing account, identifying new and future client service opportunities;
- Perform general accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable and reconciliations of accounts which include balancing multiple reports, calculating premium refunds and other adjustments;
- Follow pre-determined system and business processes using the existing procedure and process database;
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, plan members, and other inter departmental team members in a timely and professional manner both verbally and in writing;
- Perform outbound calls to potential, new and existing members, dealing with complex service issues with a professional and peak attitude;
- Collaborate with peers and co-workers to manage workflows, utilizing creative problem-solving skills in order to identify innovative and efficient solutions.
What you need to succeed:
- Post-secondary education in business/or administration will be beneficial;
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in business and/or collections is an asset;
- A high level of accuracy while working in a fast paced environment with demanding turn-around times;
- Detail oriented, critical thinker and customer service oriented;
- You are self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently and as a team;
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, notably Excel, as well as strong overall computer skills
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required for this position.
