We are accepting applications for a full-time seasonal Summer Program Supervisor for our 2025 summer season. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Community Recreation Coordinator to design and supervise our 2025 summer recreation programming to ensure a welcoming and inclusive experience for all.
What we can offer: The opportunity to develop, plan and implement the delivery of our 2025 summer recreation programs for a variety of age groups. As programming begins, the Supervisor will grow their personal leadership skills through coaching and assisting Recreation Program Leaders in facilitating programming including any inclusion supports required. The Supervisor will develop their administration skills through managing inventory, assisting with registrations and evaluations and connecting directly with the community and program participants.
Position Start Date: May 12, 2025
Position End Date: August 29, 2025
Hours: Monday-Friday, May to June: 35 hours p/week, July - August: 42 hours p/week
Hourly rate: $21.50/hour

· Experience and/or training providing inclusion supports, an asset
· Experience coaching and mentoring staff, specifically in a recreation setting preferred
· Experience working with children and youth in a recreational setting
Other Requirements:
· Enrolment in post secondary studies in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Child and Youth Studies, Psychology, Education, Social Work and/or training or experience in a related field, preferred
· Basic Workplace First Aid with CPR C/AED certification an asset, willingness to obtain required
· Clear child abuse registry and criminal records check required prior to commencement of work
