The Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in SQL, Python, and Java, along with experience in Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tools like Boomi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data warehousing (Snowflake), data transformation (dbt), and data integration (Fivetran & MSSQL). Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs is essential.

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining data solutions that support data integration, warehousing, master data management, and analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment while following an established SDLC framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain Data Pipelines - Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, Python, and Java
• Implement Data Integration - Manage integration workflows using Boomi and Fivetran
• Enhance Data Warehousing - Design and optimize Snowflake data solutions
• Data Transformation - Use dbt for data modeling, transformation, and orchestration
• API Connectivity - Design and implement REST and SOAP APIs for data integration
• Ensure Data Quality & Security - Maintain data integrity, governance, and security best practices
• Troubleshoot & Optimize - Monitor and resolve issues to ensure smooth pipeline performance
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Work with business teams to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions

Requirements:

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Java for data processing
• Hands-on experience with iPaaS tools (preferably Boomi)
• Experience with Snowflake for data warehousing
• Strong knowledge of dbt for data modeling and transformation
• Experience with data integration tools like Fivetran
• Proficiency in MSSQL
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data architecture
• Experience with REST and SOAP API integration

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Collaboration-focused, comfortable working in Agile teams
• Adaptable to changing business requirements
• Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional ETL tools beyond Boomi and Fivetran
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of big data technologie
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
