Dash Social is seeking a People Operations Manager / HR Business Partner to join our team on a 16-month contract and drive a high-impact employee experience. Reporting directly to the SVP, Operations, you will collaborate closely with our small but agile People Operations team to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

This is not a role that focuses on just one area of HR. You'll partner with leaders across the organization, pivot quickly to evolving business needs, and work in an environment where no two days are the same. If you're looking to stretch your knowledge across all areas of HR - this is the spot for you.

We are looking for someone who is adaptable, enjoys balancing strategy with execution, will jump in to support their team wherever needed and is excited about the opportunity to gain Software as a Service (SaaS) HR experience.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the PeopleOps team to lead and support initiatives across all areas of the employee experience, ensuring adoption and sustainment.
  • Be a trusted HR partner for both employees and the business, helping to resolve HR matters as they arise.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, lead effective feedback and development conversations, foster a culture of accountability, continuous growth, and high performance.
  • Work alongside the SVP Operations to lead, maintain and elevate our leadership development programs to empower and challenge our leaders in their roles.
  • Execute the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for all employees while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • In partnership with Finance, play a key role in Dash's compensation processes, including annual salary reviews and benchmarking exercises.
  • Monitor and enhance learning and development opportunities throughout the organization and work with leadership to introduce and enhance programs within their departments.
  • Embed DEI into all aspects of this role, ensuring it is a foundational element in every process, program, and initiative.
Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2 - 4 years experience in an intermediate People Operations / HR role.
  • Experience in SaaS is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace.
  • Passion for program development and process improvement.
  • Excel in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Embrace change and drive progress.
  • Thrives in working with and supporting a diverse group of people.
  • Passion for the employee experience with the ability to align PeopleOps initiatives and key results to drive and support overall business strategy and goals.
  • Familiarity with the following systems is considered an asset: BambooHR, Pave, Asana and Slack.

Don't meet every qualification? Research shows that equity-deserving groups like women and people of colour are 20% less likely to apply to jobs unless they are 100% qualified. Dash Social is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion by representing the diverse communities we serve. Our culture values differences and ensures that every current and prospective team member has equitable access to opportunities to succeed. If you are interested and excited about this role but your qualifications don't match up perfectly, we encourage you to still apply. You may be the best candidate for this role.
