As part of the Compensation Processing team, the Compensation ASR V is accountable for their everyday tasks and for performing duties in a confidential environment and daily performing diversified administrative services, while consistently maintaining a high level of customer service to the clients.
Key functions include:
- Administering all compensation-related processes, including updating employee profile information in the HR system, processing retroactive payments, handling salary changes/adjustments, and organizational changes. Additionally, monitoring, analyzing, and reviewing data and documentation on a bi-weekly basis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Providing front-line customer service to all employees and management for all compensation services. Working with the Attraction & Retention, Payroll and Labour Relations and Compensation teams to ensure accurate payroll for employees.
- Researching, troubleshooting and responding to a broad range of inquiries/problems (e.g. retroactive payments, vacation purchases, leave timeframes, salary fixes, shift fixes, frozen salaries, etc.)
Our ideal teammate will have:
- Post-secondary diploma/certificate in Business/Office Administration, Accounting, Finance or Payroll
- 5 years of administrative experience which includes three years in a compensation, payroll or benefits environment.
- Intermediate Proficiency with Excel
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively alongside team members and other work departments to achieve work objectives
Skills testing will also be administered.
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.
An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
