We are seeking a Project Accountant for a one-year term to join our Corporate Performance Management (CPM) project team, implementing OneStream within our global operations. This exciting opportunity will give you significant experience implementing a best-in-class financial reporting and planning solution across multiple ERP systems to modernize finance functions. The role will be based out of our Saint John, NB office and will report to Finance.

Responsibilities, but not limited do:

• Test and validate financial reporting developed within OneStream against source systems and data. Identify root cause of variances and recommend issue resolution
• Load financial data into OneStream for integrated business and complete workflows to adjust equity overrides and consolidation journal entries
• Develop an understanding of existing transformation rules from current financial reports
• Build transformation rules to load financial data extracted from various ERP systems into OneStream resulting in accurate financial statements
• Build mapping tables between various ERP system and OneStream meta data
• Support the development and financial statements, operational reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and dashboards within OneStream
• Support the development of training materials and workflows for OneStream solution

Qualifications:

Necessary

• University degree specializing in business or accounting
• Advanced Excel and MS Office
• High attention to detail
• Working with deadlines
• Aptitude for systems

Preferred

• Professional accounting designation or MBA is an asset
• Experience with or knowledge of the following systems

  • Great Plains
  • Dynamics 365
  • Navision
  • IFS
  • Snowflak
  • SQL
• Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, aquaculture or processing experience is considered an asset
