Terminal Maintenance "A"

General Duties
Performs maintenance, repairs and installations of electrical/mechanical equipment associated with a high voltage terminal station environment; performs rigging, sandblasting and painting functions and performs general up-keep and cleaning of station buildings and grounds. Required to operate boom truck and aerial equipment and work from aerial equipment and structures at heights up to 30m. All other duties related to or associate with this classification.
Responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the Corporation's Safety and Health Program. Responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.
Required Qualifications
High school graduation supplemented by successful completion of a nine (9) month preemployment course in the electrical or mechanical field and two (2) years related work experience in an industrial/utility environment. Shall have a thorough knowledge of all regulations and safety rules. Must possess an appropriate valid driver's license (class 3 with air brake endorsement). Completion of training in WHIMS, Emergency First Aid, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Environmental Awareness, Confined Space Entry and Fall Arrest Awareness would be an asset.
