As part of the Mechanical Maintenance team, the Maintenance Tradesworker is accountable for the installation, inspection, dismantling, repair, welding, assembly, modification, testing and maintenance of various mechanical and electrical systems and equipment, to ensure optimum performance of the Belledune Generating Station.
Key functions include:
- Various welding tasks on Station mechanical and electrical systems and equipment
- Preventative maintenance inspections to ensure optimal Station performance
- Lead teams in outages by presenting work packages and providing functional guidance
Our ideal teammate will have:
- Current Certificate of Qualification (CQ) in Welding and a New Brunswick Qualified F3 and F4 Welding License
- Two years of experience in an industrial environment
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.
An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
