Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is offering a challenging and exciting opportunity to join our team. Working in a creative, fast-paced environment, you will be part of Hydro's Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security team protecting Hydro's operational assets.
We currently have a permanent position opening in the Operational Technology team for an OT Cyber Security Infrastructure Specialist. Reporting to the OT Cyber Security Officer you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and monitoring of Hydro's Cyber Security systems and network infrastructure utilized within Hydro's OT and SCADA networks. Additionally you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing incidents, reports and other data from OT Cyber Security Systems as well as assist in creating and maintaining policies, procedures and response plans.
Summary of other Job Functions:
- Responsible for operating, maintaining and updating existing OT Cyber Security systems and tools.
- Reviewing incidents, reports, intelligence and logs pertaining to operational environment and systems
- Execute preventative maintenance plans (PMs) on Hydro's OT Cyber Security systems.
- Responsible for Cyber Security contribution to OT capital projects
- Advise Hydro employees on Cyber Security best practices, as required
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized university with a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of experience and training considered
- A minimum of 7 years progressive Cyber Security experience, preferably in an Operational Technology setting, including, but not limited to experience with, computer server operating systems, Role Based Access Control systems, Network Access Control systems, Security Incident and Event Management systems, database systems, network administration, application configuration, problem analysis, cyber security incident investigation, configuration of network protocols, NERC CIP implementation, hardware troubleshooting.
- The following industry certifications, or demonstrated competency in associated skills, would be considered as asset:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
- Security+
- CySA+
- PenTest+
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- Cisco Certified Cybersecurity Associate
- Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
