SummaryReporting to the Sales Director, Executive Aircraft Charters, the Private Jet Charter Broker would be responsible for cultivating sales leads and establishing relationships with potential private jet charter clients managing the full travel/sales cycle, so all our clients have to do is enjoy the Charter Experience.
Responsibilities- Build list of potential clients by researching internal and external databases, websites, social media, etc.
- Identify and generate sales leads by proactively targeting list through outbound sales calls, emails, and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them from potential clients to the Charter Experience clients
- Prepare for and attend trade shows, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional or national promotional opportunities
- Build relationships with private jet operators to ensure we are able to provide optimal aircraft choices for our clients' requirements
- Gather market information to maintain competitiveness
- Respond to client quote requests and craft solutions in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
- Provide continuous exemplary customer service
- Ensure consistently exceeding sales activity and financial targets
- Provide billing accuracy for clients and accounting on all charter flights
- Confirm company procedures are being followed in a methodical and chronological way to ensure protection of both the Charter Experience and the client
- Demonstrate an expert understanding of the aircraft and chartering process
- Manage charter bookings from inquiry to completion
- Flight watching/overseeing flight departures
- Build a wide and effective network of contacts inside and outside the organization
- Make prompt, clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered risks
- College Diploma
- 3-5 years of aviation experience
- 5 years or more in a similar role
- Past proven experience in a sales environment and/or aviation industry
- Self-starter demonstrating initiative and motivation
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
