The New Brunswick Association of Social Workers is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Registration Officer who can manage the registration of social workers and social work technicians in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a permanent position located in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
The Registration Officer reports to the Registrar and will support the Registrar in managing the registration process for social workers and social work technicians. The Registration Officer will coordinate and review files for the Registrar to approve and make recommendations where appropriate. This role will support applicants and those going through the renewal process to ensure files are complete and questions related to registration are answered appropriately.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of administrative processes supporting complicated and sensitive topics. They will be able to use Office 365, SMARTSHEET, handheld technology and the ease of use (adaptability) of new technology and software. The professional must also be able to work independently, be part of a professional team, and manage multiple priorities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have a university degree or Community College with work experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. The candidate is ideally bilingual in both official languages, in writing, oral, and reading. Strong oral communication in French and functional writing and reading in French is acceptable with the understanding of ongoing French language training.
