Demands, duties, qualifications

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, Unified Communications, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Support and expansion of telehealth services and provide technical expertise in developing the migration plan from an on premise to cloud solution including implementation of plan.
  • Provide daily support to the telehealth environment.
  • Provide expertise in Video Conferencing technologies; on premise Expressway, Call Manager, etc., cloud Webex, Zoom, etc.
  • Demonstrate proficient skills in analysis, design, testing and implementation of virtual conferencing technologies.
  • Accountable for the support of VC applications, systems and enhancements for Virtual Care infrastructure and other environments.
  • Provide advanced system technical support.
  • Prepare clear and accurate documentation for procedures and process flows.

About You

Your education and experience include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Diploma in IT Related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' progressively responsible experience in a system support role.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of technical platforms such as UNIX, Linux, Windows, Server, and Desktop Virtualization.
  • Experience providing technical advice to project teams and management.

You have the following skills and abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical team members
  • Have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills complimented by the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • Have a strong understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and access issues
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information using excellent judgment, diplomacy, and discretion.
