Who we are:
We invite you to join the Mount Carleton Provincial Park Team! Mount Carleton is one of the largest natural sites in New Brunswick, located in the north-west of New Brunswick.
A picturesque blend of Acadian forests and mountain peaks, Mount Carleton contains over 17, 000 hectares of wilderness waiting for today's explorers.
A provincial park since 1970, containing the highest peak in the Maritimes, a part of the Appalachian Mountains, including hiking trails, camping, fishing, and a designated Dark Sky Preserve are all part of what awaits you.
What you will do:
Reporting to the Park Manager of Mount Carleton Provincial Park, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the sales and services team of the Mount Carleton Provincial Park campground and kiosk.
As a member of the Mount Carleton Provincial Park team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Supervising permit issuers (campground and kiosk)
- Planning and managing work schedules
- Providing orientation and training
- Participating in the performance appraisal process
- Providing customer service
- Storing and stocking supplies/inventory
- Counting inventory monthly and yearly
- Providing sales reports to manager
- Performing other duties as required
Who you are:
Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:
Required competencies:
- Completion of Grade 10
- A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience including one (1) year of supervisory experience
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Valid Class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Wage:
$23.72 per hour
