Overview
This position will be responsible for full-cycle physician recruitment. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience successfully placing Physicians in a variety of specialties. They must also have a deep understanding of healthcare recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Source Physicians of various specialties and other positions within healthcare including but not limited to: Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses etc.
- Develop and maintain a network of connections including: Clients, CPSNL, Universities, Agencies, Physicians etc.
- Build and maintain relationships with qualified physicians
- Build an active pipeline, and continually identify and develop new strategies/approaches to recruitment
- Sell and negotiate throughout the recruitment process and act as a subject matter expert while taking a consultative approach
- Generate revenue through closing the permanent placement of Physicians/Healthcare staff for our client
- Manage communication with Physician from pre-screen to placement, assisting them in relocating their family (building a unique relocation support package).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in physician recruitment, talent acquisition, or healthcare staffing.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry, including knowledge of physician specialties, licensure, and credentialing processes.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases. Bullhorn software and Sharepoint knowledge would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoogleMeet etc.).
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and medical groups.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
