The Department of Health is seeking an individual to join the Talent Recruitment Division as an Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHP) International Recruiter. Reporting to the Director of International Recruitment & Services, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact during international recruitment efforts, engaging with candidates before they have committed to New Brunswick as their place of practice.
As the IEHP International Recruiter, you will:
- Oversee the recruitment of Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs), including strategic planning and lead generation to increase the number of net new IEHPs;
- Liaise and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration, promote recruitment best practices, and increase knowledge sharing between partners;
- Lead the development and implementation of various provincial initiatives and strategies that support recruitment efforts at an international level;
- Engage in recruitment and promotional activities with employers and partners including job fairs, events, conferences, and presentations;
- Support the development of communication and promotional materials;
- Explain all components of the process for a prospective candidate to practice in New Brunswick in a concise, ethical, and sales-orientated manner;
- Advise IEHP candidates about credentialling, immigration, and employment, offering personalized support;
- Serve as a member on relevant Federal/Provincial/Territorial and International collaborative working groups focused on the attraction, recruitment, and retention of IEHPs;
- Monitor, measure and evaluate key recruitment performance indicators to ensure quality targets and outcomes are being met;
- Identify recruitment trends, opportunities, and process streamlining to enhance employment integration and retention efforts.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Arts, Business, or another relevant program.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in health care recruitment.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability on your application.

In the event that this competition poses difficulties in recruiting a qualified candidate, a covering off appointment at a lower level may be made. In that case, candidates with less than the required related years of experience may also be considered.

Salary: $64,974 to $90,740 per annum (Pay Band 5)
