What You Will Do:
The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is seeking an Online Tools Facilitator for Digital Learning to join the Anglophone Educational Services Division, Digital Learning and System Excellence Branch in Fredericton. Reporting to the Director of Digital Learning and System Excellence, you will be supporting operations of ESD with support for the increasing number of digital tools we use in our work, and to provide specific support to online tools being used across the Anglophone sector. You will also:
- Manage and archive information.
- Assist in the development of coordinated collaborative online spaces.
- Migrate information between systems, completing and storing documents.
- Manage details for multiple projects; manage the e-library and online subscriptions.
- Collaborate with EECD, school districts, and SNB technical leads to maintain currency of platforms.
- Facilitate training for users, including live and prebuilt content.
- Provide support with tools and platforms. Some of the tools we work with include Follet Destiny, Overdrive Sora, EBSCO, D2L Brightspace, PL Hub, MS 365, SharePoint, WordPress, Canva, SchoolAI, PowerSchool, myBlueprint and any additional tools that EECD may provide.
- Assist and enhance efforts with AI implementation.
- Ability to manage and report on data (e.g. Usage statistics).
Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the details below:
Required essentials:
- A College Diploma in a Technology related program with emphasis on web/internet technology.
- A minimum of four (4) years of related work experience, including at least two (2) years of experience working with enterprise content management systems (SharePoint) and web management.
- Security and privacy knowledge for IT settings.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.
Nice to have:
- Content Management Systems (CMS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Project management and implementation of web content & updates.
- Database management skills, analytics management and reporting.
- Support other web and technology efforts as required, e.g., APIs, LTIs.
- Learning Management Systems (LMS), specifically D2L Brightspace.

Wage:
Pay Band 4: $56,758 - $79,378 annually.
Work environment:
- Office location: 250 King St., Fredericton
- Standard hour of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 4:30 pm
