Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice

Are you interested in an opportunity for a great career start and work in Newfoundland and Labrador? Working alongside our team at Hydro, you will get hands on experience learning how to perform maintenance and troubleshooting in our diesel plants throughout Labrador. You will also get exposure to maintenance of various mobile equipment and vehicles and all other related duties.

Qualifications:

You have graduated high school, have completed a one-year pre-employment Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (block 1), and are registered or eligible to register as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice. You have thorough knowledge of all regulations and safety rules and must possess an appropriate valid driver's license.

You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the company's Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.
