Christopher Veach, CPA Inc., is forward-thinking start-up accounting firm based on the Eastern Shore of HRM 30 minutes from Downtown Dartmouth. The firm serves 50+ small business with accounting and tax services and processes 185+ personal tax returns annually.

The firm is seeking an Accountant with experience processing personal tax returns with TaxCycle, and experience transitioning small businesses to cloud accounting system from QuickBooks Desktop

This is a full-time three-month contract to begin immediately. There is the potential to continue with the firm. There will be a weekly in-person meeting. Otherwise this is a work from home position with ad hoc check-ins via Google Meet as necessary. The Accountant will need good internet and a home office with a computer with dual displays.

Role Responsibilities

• Process personal tax returns using TaxCycle
• Onboard small businesses to cloud accounting
