The Administrative Assistant will provide multi-faceted administrative support to Legal Services. They wi l act as the key contact and process requests relating to privacy and access legislation (i.e. FOIPOP; PIIDPA, etc.) under the direction of the Corporate Secretary. The Administrative Assistant will support the Office of the Regional Executive Director (ORED) as back-up to the Executive Administrative Assistant. Working in a professional, confidential and proactive manner, the Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Corporate Secretary/In-House Counsel.
Qualifications:
(a) Undergraduate Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Legal Office Administration or equivalent training and experience in a support role at a senior level;
(b) Minimum two (2) years experience in a related legal services administrative role providing senior level support and records management;
(c) Experience with privacy and access legislation (i.e. FOIPOP; PIIDPA, etc.);
(d) Experience in an educational environment considered an asset.
Pay:
This is a Professional Employees Group (PEG) position classified on the Education Entities Non-Union Compensation Framework at Band 5 with an hourly range between $29.09 and $36.36.
