Summary

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Pricing, you will be responsible for driving winning churn strategies for BBM wireless.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to mitigate customer churn, encompassing pricing optimization, offer creation, and rigorous financial modeling. This role demands a deep understanding of analytical techniques and a proven ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing comprehensive churn mitigation strategies based on thorough data analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Conducting in-depth analyses of customer churn patterns, identifying key drivers, and formulating targeted interventions.
  • Designing and implementing innovative pricing strategies to optimize revenue and reduce churn, utilizing techniques such as price elasticity modeling and conjoint analysis.
  • Creating and testing a wide variety of customer retention offers, including promotional discounts, loyalty programs, and bundled services. This will involve A/B testing and rigorous performance monitoring.
  • Developing sophisticated financial models to forecast the impact of churn mitigation initiatives on key financial metrics.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure seamless execution of churn reduction strategies.
  • Regularly monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to churn, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
  • Staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in customer retention and churn management.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management, effectively communicating complex data and analytical insights.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement in churn mitigation strategies and processes.
Critical Qualifications
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in a relevant role, such as churn management, pricing strategy, or financial analysis within a customer-centric organization.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Data Science; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies, including value-based pricing, cost-plus pricing, and competitive pricing.
  • Experience designing and implementing customer retention offers, with a focus on measurable impact and ROI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
